Why borrow against Bitcoin

Back your next move without selling your Bitcoin

The turning points in a business tend to need money quickly: a partner ready to sell, a practice offering you a stake, a franchise you have had your eye on, or an idea that needs runway.

A Bitcoin-backed commercial loan uses your Bitcoin as security for a fixed-rate loan in Australian dollars, for business purposes only. Your Bitcoin is held in a segregated wallet uniquely generated for you, and released back to you once the loan is repaid in full.

It is a 12-month loan, so think about how you will repay it at the end of the term. If the price of Bitcoin falls, you may need to add collateral or pay down the loan, and if you do not, some or all of your Bitcoin can be sold to cover what you owe.
